Business Leader’s Lunch: 2019 South Island Prosperity Index Update
April 18 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
In November of 2017, a Leonardo Da Vinci painting sold at auction for $450 million, the most ever paid for a work of art.
Also in November of 2017, the South Island Prosperity Project released the first ever South Island Prosperity Index. The Index measured indicators relative to our local economy, and compared them to other cities across the country in areas including:
– Economic Resiliency
– Transportation and Mobility
– Housing & Affordability
– Human Health
– Environmental Health
On Thursday, April 18, the updated Prosperity Index will be released at a Greater Victoria Chamber luncheon event. Will it paint a pretty picture of trends in our economy? Please join us to find out, and be part of an interactive session moderated by South Island Prosperity’s Interim CEO Bruce Williams.
